Cut the sink in and plumbed it all up this afternoon. Plan on wrapping the bottom with cypress later on. Now just have to get some blood on it to really test it out.

New and improved duck/fish cleaning area

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1458004603.377686.jpg Finally got around to ripping out the old tore up one. Just have to cut the sink into it and plumb it up. What y'all think about wrapping the bottom with some old cypress to make some cabinet doors to hide the plumbing? Wouldn't mind hearing y'all ideas....

Re: Ducks

I agree with Huck that it was a crazy year for us in South La too. We also had way to much water all year long that spread the ducks out that we were lucky enough to have. We did get lucky and had a. nice sized body of grey ducks to hang around the area mixing in with so teal. But it was a very much...

I like to use Power Pro braided line because I find that there isn't as much memory as mono. It also seems to last longer and doesn't have to be changed as often. What's Yall favorite favorite rod and reel combo?

I personally like the Calcutta 200B on a 7'6" Calcasieu Xtreme custom rod. I mainly fish for redfish and specks. I don't do a lot of fresh water fishing. Just seeing what other combos yall are using.
