Sure was. Caught those in turners bay to be specific .i was actually headed to choupique bayou and saw the Birds were working turners bay . Thats my results after 45 min of fishing . Called it a day after that. Bottom pic was from the salt ditch. Not as many but still not a bad trip.

I'm still waiting on the water to clean up in my neck of the woods to start my fishing.

It's still pretty nasty here. Definitely no sight fishing.

It usually takes until mid March or early April for the water to get decent here. With the river so high this year it may even take longer. But the Reds should start turning on in a few weeks

Trot lines.

The water has been way to high and the weather has been to sketchy to put traps out.

What were you baiting with? I've been using cut pogie and catching a couple here and there, but my dad used to bait with crawfish this time of year and did well. Think I'm gonna switch up.

Chicken gizzards. Ran cold worms for about a week and they did well but gizzards are faster to put on a stay on the hook.

Thanks for the info. May give them a try as well....if I can keep from frying them up!
